Wichita Mid-Continent Airport welcomes all travelers!
A number of services are available to assist people with disabilities.
Making prior arrangements with your airline for wheelchair availability and access, oxygen requirements, and other accommodations before arriving at the airport will help ensure a smooth experience at the airport.
For information on security screening for people with disabilities, visit the Transportation Security Administration.
Wheelchair Accessibility
The airlines provide wheelchairs for use throughout the terminal. Reserve a wheelchair when you make your flight reservation. Most airlines have information about wheelchair access and other services upon request. In addition to airline personnel, the Courtesy Crew customer service representatives are available to assist.
If you arrive at the airport without arrangements for a wheelchair through your airline, ask an airline representative or Courtesy Crew member for assistance.
Passenger Pick Up and Drop Off
ADA accessible curb ramps are located at each crosswalk in front of the terminal building, and at the curb ramp in the rental car lot.
Passengers can be dropped off in front of the terminal building, but vehicles must not be left unattended. For your convenience, parking in the short-term lot is free for the first 30 minutes.
If you are picking up guests arriving at the airport, you may park free of charge in one of the 16 spaces in the Cell Phone Waiting Lot. Once your guests have claimed their bags, they can call your cell phone to let you know they are ready to be picked up at the terminal. The new Cell Phone Waiting Lot is located off Mid-Continent Drive at the Park & Ride Lot exit, about one minute's drive from the terminal. Vehicles must be attended at all times, and there is a one-hour parking limit.
Accessible Parking
ADA accessible parking is available in the short-term lot, and in the Park & Ride lot. The short-term lot has 41 ADA stalls and is the closest lot to the terminal building. There is no charge for ADA parking in the short-term lot. The Park & Ride lot has 24 ADA accessible stalls. Transportation to/from the terminal building is provided every 10 minutes on a lift-equipped courtesy van. There is no free ADA parking in the Park & Ride lot.
Accessible Transportation
Wichita Mass Transit provides bus service to the terminal. All pick-ups at Mid-Continent Airport are in front of the terminal by the luggage sign. For bus schedules and further information, visit the Westside Connector.
